This letter was written for Christians who were content with half-inch-deep knowledge of the Bible, and as a result their spiritual life was lethargic, lukewarm, and lazy. Because this is still a common problem among American Christians today, the message of Hebrews is as timely today as it was in the first century. The study of this book will strengthen any wavering faith, as we will learn what it means to have Jesus Christ not just as our Savior, but also as our High Priest.
